David Fliski achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Musical Instrument Technology in London where he studied Luthery under the guidance of 4 of the most celebrated Luthiers in England. After university he founded Fliski Guitars where he runs a successful custom shop building guitars from customers ideas as well as building his Maverick and Caravelle models. Always trying out pickups to use in his guitars, he found himself disappointed and needed freedom to create his own pickups to finally have the tone he sought after. After rave reviews and many requests, David eventually started to sell his pickups to the public. Residing in London in the heart of the music and cultural scene, here is where he creates Heavy Air pickups using only the highest quality components and the level of control, detail and passion only possible whilst winding by hand. Each pickup is made to order and David uses this so he can communicate directly with players and builders and create the perfect pickup for them!
